BRAC ISLAND - CROATIA 2 spots left

Come with us to the island of Brac for a tranquil and authentic Croatian island experience with beautiful beaches, a rich cultural heritage, and awesome natural treasures, this is the perfect place to get a real taste of Croatia while enjoying plenty of sun, sea, yoga, and retreat community.

This beautiful location will provide the perfect environment for your daily yoga practice. Each day you can enjoy the options of meditation, energising morning vinyasa flow, relaxing afternoon yin practice (including guided myofascial release), and yoga nidra – a blissful guided deep relaxation.

Choose from a range of group activities to help you explore this beautiful Island of Brac. Or enjoy ample personal time to swim, sunbathe, read, relax with a massage or walk into the local village. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the sea that inspire meditation and reflection and let your soul connect to the magical island of Brac.

The Island of Brac is the third largest island in the Adriatic, sporting the highest peak of any Adriatic island, and arguably the best beach, it has less than 14000 inhabitants spread across 22 settlements. Brac is spacious, quiet and traditional, despite being just a short ferry ride from the bustling city of Split.
There are over a million olive trees on the island and the oil has a ‘protected designation of origin’, there also many vineyards producing excellent wines, and Brac white limestone is world famous.

private villa

Our luxury award winning villa is located in the peaceful village of Mirca, close to Supetar, central town of Brac island. The villa is situated just few meters from the beach and with spacious outdoor areas offering fabulous views of the sea and the mainland. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and each with its own small terrace. The villa has an extra toilet with a laundry, spacious living room and fireplace, dinning area and centrally positioned main kitchen with long bar.

boat trip

No trip to Croatia is complete without spending time exploring the coastal islands by boat. Our private charter will ensure that we get to enjoy the best of the local inlets and beaches including the idillic Pakleni Islands off the coast of Hvar. Swimming straight from the back of the boat is a magical way to appreciate the Adriatic and no doubt will be one of the many highlights of the retreat. We will even be picked up by boat from outside the front of our villa.

Our in-house, Croatian chef will spoil us exclusively with tasty Mediterranean vegetarian dishes. Enjoy a variety of unprocessed and chemical-free cuisine that celebrates locally produced food made from scratch. Each dish is prepared with hand-picked vegetables from the Villas garden and locally-sourced ingredients. Everything used will be local, seasonal, and organic.

The Best of the Adriatic - Golden horn

A scenic trip across the island will deliver us to five hundred metres of fine pebble perfection projecting out into the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, the Golden Horn is one of Europes most famous beaches. After enjoying our morning at the beach we will stroll through the costal forest back to the popular town of Bol, with excellent restaurants and shopping before returning via Vidova gora, the highest point of the Adriatic with amazing views.

Hermitage Blaca

Dating from 1551 this unesco world heritage site is a fascinating exploration of human endeavour and tenacity. The 2.5 km walk to this monastery through a spectacular valley on a path that has been trod for centuries by the monks and their donkeys is a lovely prelude to the informative tour of what is now an extensive museum.

Olive oil museum

You are in for a taste of history, tradition, all things olive as well as many other local delicacies. Dating from 1864 this traditional olive mill and press has been beautifully restored, as has the building that houses them in the historic village of Skrip. 160 years on and this is still a family business producing award winning olive oil and traditional products, and after a very entertaining and informative presentation we will feast on them all.
