Day 1

Flying into Nelson airport on Thursday 7th April, you’ll travel by shuttle taxi at 2pm to Marahau, about an hour journey. After settling into your accommodation there will be a welcome & introduction talk, then a BBQ dinner.

Day 2

Each day will begin with meditation and an energising yoga practice to set us up for the day ahead. After a day in the park we will also enjoy a guided relaxation and relaxing yin yoga every afternoon. From Marahau we climb aboard the Water Taxi headed for the golden sands of Onetahuti, following some quick kayak instructions, we launch our comfortable stable double kayaks for a magical guided kayak paddle northwards. Along the way we enjoy close encounters with the Abel Tasman resident seal population on the bouldery headlands and sheltered coves of this spectacular slice of coastline. Tides permitting, we’ll show you the delights of Shag Harbour where seal pups frolic playfully in the clear shallow waters. From here our journey heads south and takes us to the remarkable rock formation known as the “Arches of Tonga”. Enjoy a delicious lunch while your guide brews a fresh coffee, there’s ample time to take a swim, a short walk or just relax and enjoy the ambiance of this wonderful place. A string of beautiful beaches and enchanting lagoons await us on our walk back to Bark Bay. From here it’s back on the water taxi to enjoy the scenic cruise to Marahau via the world famous Split Apple Rock.

Day 3

An special surprise excursion.

Day 4

Exploring the Southern section of the park, paddling from Marahau, out past the seal colonies to Adele Island. Our guides point out various beaches, hidden caves and tidal lagoons along the way. We enjoy lunch on Watering cove beach before a leisurely 2 -3 hour walk back to the start of the Abel Tasman National Park with wicked views and lush native bush along the way.

Day 5

Starting the day with our morning yoga, followed by breakfast and then the closing circle and departure around 11am. The airport shuttle will leave at 11.15am to drop everyone off.
