You should understand that physical activities involving physical exertion are part of a yoga retreat. You should be in good general health, free from cardiovascular and respiratory disease, and have good exercise tolerance. If you have any prior knowledge of any physical or other issue which may affect your physical capacity to participate in the retreat activities, you agree to obtain your doctor’s approval, and disclose these issues to Marie Andrews Yoga before commencing the activities.

Marie Andrews Yoga, its organisers, staff, sub-contractors, volunteers and participants take no responsibility for you during the retreat and will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the retreat, travelling to or from the retreat, the activities, and travelling to and from the activities. Outdoor activities are inherently dangerous and accidents do happen. You must exercise extra care for your own person and for others around you in the face of such hazards.

In any physical activity risk of injury is possible. Yoga is no substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment. You should be comfortable throughout your class, if you experience pain please stop immediately and seek advice from your instructor. Cancellation Policy

Marie Andrews Retreats has a strict no-refund policy for all retreats.
Deposits are non-refundable (but guest can find a replacement and we can transfer the deposit)
Final payment – if the retreat is cancelled after payment in full, usually 2 months before the start of the retreat, then we will do our best to fill your place or if you find a replacement, we can refund. If we can’t find a replacement, then full payment will not be refunded.

While we are deeply sympathetic to those who have may unforeseeably have to cancel at short notice, due to the nature of the events we run these policies must be enforced and we cannot offer refunds or transfer dates on cancelled bookings regardless of personal circumstances such as illness or injury or other personal events. It is the duty of the booker to have adequate travel insurance to cover themselves.

Health & Travel Insurance

No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance and it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including injury/illness, accidents, or personal emergencies. We strongly recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance in case you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip, you can claim the cost of the retreat.

Medical expenses while overseas can be expensive and all travel insurance policies should cover you for any such need for medical treatment.
